Ashok Pinto is the Executive Director of SelectUSA, the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration program that drives business investment and job creation across the United States. He also performs the non-exclusive duties of Assistant Secretary for Global Markets and Director General of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service. Pinto has served in all three branches of government, including roles in the White House Counsel’s Office, Congress, and the Treasury Department. His career spans public service and the private sector, having also served as a Director in Intel’s Intellectual Property Policy Group and as an IP litigator in private practice. He holds a BA from Stanford University and a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law.
