Suzanne P. Clark is president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business organization and network representing businesses of every size and sector. Since taking the helm in 2021, Clark has led a transformative period of modernization and growth to strengthen the Chamber’s influence as the unified voice of American business. Her forward-looking leadership has reinvigorated its century-old mission to champion free enterprise as the cornerstone of American opportunity, prosperity, and competitiveness. 

Under Clark’s leadership, the Chamber helps American businesses navigate an increasingly complex set of public policy risks and advance an agenda for stronger, faster economic growth. Her strategic expansion of the Chamber’s advocacy operation—including greater state and local engagement and an enhanced Government Affairs team—has amplified the business community’s impact on key issues such as tax reform, AI, trade, energy, infrastructure, and workforce. 

As America’s leading private-sector commercial diplomat, Clark advocates for business worldwide, engaging directly with global leaders in key markets and at forums like the Munich Security Conference, the B7, and the B20. She regularly hosts heads of state and other high-ranking government officials at Chamber headquarters in Washington, D.C., having welcomed more than half of the G20 countries during her tenure as CEO. Clark serves on the boards of AGCO Corporation and TransUnion, as well as The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. She holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University.
