Dan Foy is Gallup’s U.S. business leader for global research. In that role, he builds partnerships with public and private sector organizations that rely on Gallup’s global analytics capabilities to advance solutions for critical international issues. He has also been a longstanding champion for Gallup’s wellbeing sciences and their application across all levels of society.

Over the course of his 18-year tenure at Gallup, he has been involved in every aspect of the research cycle, from hypothesis conceptualization to the design, collection, and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data on a diverse array of topics and cultures. In addition to traditional research methods, he has been central to many of Gallup’s most innovative efforts, including as principal investigator on multiple programs with federal R&D agencies such as DARPA. He is skilled at translating complex findings into clear insights and regularly presents Gallup’s work to both expert and public audiences.

Foy holds degrees in cultural anthropology from the University of Nebraska and the University of Missouri.
